Many of our design activities for schools & churches are performed in conjunction with an architect who is responsible for the building geometrics and design, whereas our services would include boundary & topographic survey acquisition, layout plan in accordance with client & zoning regulations, grading (with balanced earthwork), storm collection design, storm water management & water quality, building utility services, erosion control, layout geometrics, and construction staking.

Walsh University Campus Chapel Walsh University – Campus Chapel: The Campus Chapel is a focal point for the Walsh University campus and serves as an anchor for the campus quad. This complex project involved drive access realignment with provisions for a future traffic signal onto East Maple Street. Drainage for this project was an integral part of the first phase of our Master Campus drainage plan and addressed both quantity and quality of the storm water runoff. Also included with the project was a parking lot landscape plan to accentuate the new chapel.

Walsh University – Track & Field and Tennis Complex: Plans, specifications and bid documents were developed for a new track & field events area on the North Campus. The project included a new 8 lane synthetic surface track (constructed around an existing soccer field), high jump, steeple chase, long jump, pole vault, fencing, waterline with drinking fountains, and assistance with site lighting requirements. The tennis court improvement plans (which included center island bleachers, fencing, windscreens, and landscaping) necessitated resolution of several zoning issues.

Cedar Elementary School - Canton City School District Cedar Elementary School – Canton City School District: Working in conjunction with a local architect (building plans), we prepared design plans for the new parking lots, sidewalks, and soft surface playground area. As part of this project we redesigned adjacent public roadways for inclusion of bus & vehicle drop-off lanes.

Lehman Middle School – Canton City Schools: For this site plan we worked with a local architect who provided the building drawings and general concept layout. We performed topographic surveying and prepared the site improvement plans for the access road, parking lots, grading, earthwork (included retaining wall design), drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility services.

Brown Mackie College, North Canton – Fitzpatrick Enterprises: Cooper & Associates, LLP was selected to perform the surveying and site design services for this branch campus building located in Jackson Township, Ohio. Stabilization of compressible soils and storm water drainage limitations were two of the special design considerations that needed to be resolved.
