Cooper & Associates, LLP is a leader in the development of residential
subdivisions within the Stark County area. The following descriptions are
for a few of the many projects which we have designed. All of these projects
included the acquisition of boundary & topographic surveying, roadway &
infrastructure utility design, storm water management, erosion control,
construction layout, and as-built survey records.
Monticello
– AMC Land Development, Ltd.: This eight phase subdivision in North Canton, Ohio has been developed from
1995 through the present. It has twice been awarded “Community of the Year”
by the Stark County Building Industry Association. The subdivision includes
approximately 260 lots, four storm water management basins and several
association properties. Creation of the largest of the association
properties included restoration of the existing historic barn for use as the
commons building plus an outdoor swimming pool, and integration of an
existing spring pond into the open space plan. Washington Square
– McKinley Development:
This North Canton multi-use development consists of 104 single family homes,
40 villa homes, and several commercial properties. Improvement plans
associated with this development provided for preservation of existing
wetlands and inclusion of walking paths which were interconnected with the
Stark County Parks walking paths.
Windham Bridge – Noble Homes Inc.:
This 86 unit multi-family development (consisting of quad and 14 unit
buildings) in the Village of Hartville was awarded “Condominium Community of
the Year, 2005” by the Stark County Building Industry Association. The
design plans included a sanitary lift station and force main extension plus
accommodation for a wetland conservation area.
Heritage Glen – Heritage Glen Co. LLC:
This single family residential development consisted of 113 single family
lots. The improvement plans also included design details for a 1 MGD
sanitary lift station. To accommodate the low initial flows associated with
the development, an air injection system was incorporated into the design to
prevent force main anaerobic conditions.
University Village – PRMDC, Ltd.:
Located in the City of Massillon, this large planned development consisted
of 224 single family lots, 34 duplex lots, 14 quad condominium buildings, 2
eight unit apartment buildings, open/parkland space, and retail facility.
